Gaming, Reading, Watching
Hello and happy pride month! I wanted to make a quick little post about various interests I've indulged in more recently.
One of my favorite games from my childhood started getting some important updates recently, so of course I had to pick it up on Steam again! Spiral Knights was a game that was deeply important to me for a while, but I left after finding myself getting tired of the grind and not seeing new content that I was interested in. I'm very glad that seems to be changing now, and I appreciate when developers take the time to listen to player feedback to make improvements.
I started reading Dante's Inferno recently since my mom happens to own a copy... not the easiest book to read, but I'm excited to dive into it. Now that I'm out of school I'm craving a book that's a bit more intellectually challenging.
I used to be really into playing racing games when I was younger, so recently I've found myself watching F1 and other racing clips just out of curiosity. My family was never particularly interested in sports aside from the winter Olympics, so I suppose I never really understood the appeal of sitting down to watch sports until I started talking to people that were truly passionate about their favorite sports teams. So far it's been interesting to watch the highlights from previous races and learn about the different drivers, and of course the drama can get pretty goofy at times.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day 👋
